Add another Oore instance
Save another backend connection in one Oore browser client.
Use one browser client with multiple Oore backends when each team or environment needs an independent instance. Each backend keeps its own users, projects, runners, artifacts, and authentication.
What you need
- A browser path to the backend you want to add.
- An account or valid sign-in path for that backend.
- HTTPS and External Access for a non-loopback backend used from an HTTPS client.
Add the connection
- Open the instance switcher in the sidebar.
- Select Add instance.
- Enter a distinct Label.
- Enter Backend URL. In the installed local client, leave it empty to use that client’s same-origin local proxy.
- Choose an icon and select Add.
The new entry becomes active immediately. Adding an instance does not perform a readiness check.
Verify the result
Confirm the new label appears in the instance switcher. Sign in if prompted, then open Projects and verify the page belongs to the intended backend. Reload the browser and confirm the connection remains available.
Troubleshooting
If the entry opens but requests fail, verify the backend separately and check the selected URL. Hosted and other HTTPS clients require a browser-reachable HTTPS backend.
The current UI cannot edit Backend URL or remove a saved instance. Verify the URL before selecting Add. If it is wrong, add the corrected connection as a new instance and sign in to that backend independently.
