Oore CI
Operate OoreBrowser clients

Connect the hosted UI

Connect the UI-only client at ci.oore.build to an HTTPS-reachable Oore backend.

Use https://ci.oore.build as an optional browser client for a backend you operate. Oore hosts only static UI assets there. Your browser talks directly to the selected backend; setup inputs and signing material do not pass through an Oore-hosted server.

What you need

  • A ready backend in External Access.
  • A browser-reachable HTTPS backend URL.
  • https://ci.oore.build in the backend’s allowed frontend origins.
  • Working OIDC or Trusted Proxy sign-in for that backend.

An HTTPS page cannot call http://127.0.0.1:8787 or another HTTP backend. Keep using the installed local client for a Local Only instance.

For a complete Cloudflare path, follow Connect Cloudflare Tunnel and Access before you add the instance.

Connect the backend

  1. Open ci.oore.build.
  2. Open the instance switcher and select Add instance.
  3. Enter Label and the backend’s HTTPS Backend URL.
  4. Select Add.
  5. Sign in through the backend’s configured External Access method.

The entry becomes active immediately; adding it does not probe readiness first. Each backend keeps an independent sign-in.

Verify the result

Open Settings > Runners and confirm the expected backend instance name and runner state. Reload the page, select the instance again, and confirm its session remains scoped to that backend.

Troubleshooting

If the browser reports a network or CORS failure, request the backend /healthz URL directly, verify HTTPS and certificate trust, and confirm the exact https://ci.oore.build origin is allowed. It is not a default daemon origin. If sign-in fails, troubleshoot the selected External Access method instead of the hosted client.

Next step

Add another Oore instance or trigger a build.
